Scarlet millipedes also called Rusty Red millipedes can get 2"-3" long.  They make a great first millipede. 

They need substrate as deep as they are long and twice as wide. The deeper the better! They will dig down to molt and just hang out. Scarlet millipedes love leaf litter and will need a millipede substrate with rotting wood and leaf litter to stay healthy. They are a tropical species and need temps at least 72 degrees. 

They need to be offered fresh fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. 

Sizes will vary depending on what is currently in stock. PLEASE NOTE we do not sex the millipedes.
